A program implementation review (PIR) for target indicators and existing health programs was conducted in three consecutive days on May 29 to 31, 2017, highlighting the achievements and concerns of three health zones in the municipality, and was actively participated by the health staff with their barangay captains and their respective councilors for health.
The review showcased the previous year’s achievements in health, as well as challenges encountered that contributed to reduction of health accomplishments. It is in this light that the health staff teamed up with our dedicated and supportive local policy makers to plan new strategies for health and take action on health issues involving the greater community.
The event was concluded with a detailed output of plans and strategies for health reflecting a collaborative, coordinated, and integrated blueprint of action to ensure systematic, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bounded services and programs for the community.
